Endlog Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 9, 2025
Your privacy is our utmost priority at Endlog. This Privacy Policy
explains how Endlog ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles
information when you use our mobile application.
1. Our Fundamental Privacy Principle: No Data Collection
Endlog is designed with your privacy at its core. We want to be
absolutely clear:
Endlog DOES NOT collect, transmit, or store any of your personal
data, documents, images, tags, or any other information on our
servers. All your data resides exclusively on your device.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Because Endlog operates entirely on your device, we do not collect:
-
Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email,
location, or device ID.
-
Document content, images, tags, expiry dates, or any other data you
input into the App.
- Usage data, analytics, or crash reports.
- Information for advertising purposes.
3. How Your Data is Handled on Your Device
All information you create and manage within Endlog is processed and
stored locally on your device's internal storage.
-
Local Storage: Your documents, images, tags, and
app settings are saved directly to your device's secure file system.
This data remains on your device and is accessible even when you are
offline.
-
iCloud Synchronization (Optional): You have the
option to enable iCloud synchronization within Endlog. If you choose
to enable this feature, your Endlog data will be securely stored and
synced via your personal Apple iCloud Drive account.
Important: This process is managed directly by
Apple and is subject to
Apple's Privacy Policy. Endlog (the application or developer) does not access, view, or
process your data stored in iCloud. It merely provides the interface
for your device to interact with your iCloud account.
-
Local Backups: Endlog allows you to create local
ZIP file backups of your documents and images. These backups are
stored only on your device in a location you choose, or wherever you
explicitly share them. We do not retain any copies of your backups.
4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
Since Endlog does not collect or store your data on our servers, we do
not share or sell your data with any third parties.
When you use certain features, data may be processed by **third-party
services on your device** or shared **at your explicit direction**:
-
Device Camera & Photo Library: Used for scanning
documents or attaching images from your photo library. Access is
requested by the operating system (iOS) and is controlled by your
device's privacy settings. Endlog only processes this data locally
within the App.
-
Sharing Features (iOS Share Sheet): When you choose
to share a document or image from Endlog using the iOS Share Sheet,
the content is transferred from Endlog to the application *you
select* for sharing (e.g., Mail, Messages, Dropbox, etc.). This
transfer occurs directly on your device, and the handling of that
data is then governed by the privacy policies of the third-party
application you chose.
-
Third-Party Libraries: Endlog utilizes various
open-source and third-party libraries for core app functionality
(e.g., document scanning, image picking, local storage, cloud
storage integration). These libraries operate solely on your device
to perform their functions and do not send data to us.
5. Children's Privacy
Endlog is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children
under 13, as we do not collect any PII from any user.
6. Data Security
As your data resides on your device or in your personal iCloud, its
security is primarily governed by the security features of your device
(e.g., passcodes, biometrics) and Apple's iCloud security measures. We
strive to follow best practices in secure coding to protect your data
within the App's local environment.
7. No Subscriptions or In-App Purchases
Endlog is a one-time purchase application. There are no subscriptions,
recurring fees, or in-app purchases required to access any features
within the App.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you
of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and
updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any
changes.
